Just anoth­er friend­ly reminder — if you pur­chased Tiki’s Gift Cards and/or McFun-rais­er Coupon Books, they will be ready for pick up dur­ing the below dates and times:

Thurs­day, Decem­ber 14, 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm in Library
Fri­day, Decem­ber 15, 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm in Library

We are encour­ag­ing that pick-ups be made in per­son to pre­vent issues with lost or stolen envelopes when they are sent home with stu­dents. We are hop­ing one of these dates work for you. Only in the event that you are unable to attend any of these dates, we will send home envelopes in your child’s Dec 21 Thurs­day fold­er. How­ev­er, please be aware of risks involved with lost or stolen envelopes.

If you signed up to loan equip­ment for the Fun Fair and received a con­fir­ma­tion note, please drop off your item(s) on Thurs­day, Nov 3, 1:20pm to 3pm at the 9th Ave park­ing lot. Please remem­ber to write your name on each item. Don’t for­get to pick up items at the end of the fair on Nov 5 from F101.

Good morn­ing.

Here is the newslet­ter for the month of Feb­ru­ary! You will also find a fly­er that was sent home yes­ter­day request­ing drink dona­tions for the fair!

If the drinks could be dropped off before 7:45AM that would be best because it gets real­ly, real­ly busy after that!!  An email to funfair2014@liholiholaulima.org with name and num­ber of drinks would be appre­ci­at­ed so we know how much dona­tions to expect dur­ing the morn­ing drop off.

Also, if you’d like to vol­un­teer and assist with the drink drop off in the morn­ing or just have ques­tions, please email us at the address above.

Liholi­ho Lauli­ma PTA will be sell­ing Ward Cen­ter Fes­ti­val of Giv­ing 3-Day Sales Pass­ports by the PCNC room near the flag­pole on:

Tues­day Octo­ber 29 1:15 — 2:00 PM
Wednes­day Octo­ber 30 12:30 — 1:15 PM
Thurs­day Octo­ber 31 1:15 — 2:00 PM

You do not need to fill out an order form if you buy your pass­ports after school.

Each Pass­port sells for $10 with all of the mon­ey going to sup­port Liholi­ho Lauli­ma PTA. You can pay by cash or check made payable to Liholi­ho Lauli­ma PTA.

Thank you all for com­ing out to the Chuck E. Cheese fundrais­er on Aug. 29th amidst the traf­fic and UH Foot­ball game.

We were able to suc­cess­ful­ly raise $910 this year and with the addi­tion­al dona­tion of $390 from Wayne Haya­mi (proud Liholi­ho Alum­nus!) the PTA received a check in the amount of $1,300!

Thank you to all the fam­i­lies for com­ing out, Mr. Haya­mi of Chuck E. Cheese, and the PTA Fundrais­ing Com­mit­tee for the suc­cess­ful event!

Good morn­ing!

We are look­ing for some ener­getic, enthu­si­as­tic peo­ple to join our PTA board for the next two
school years! As a board mem­ber, you will learn a lot about cur­rent school events as well as assist
in the plan­ning and prepa­ra­tion of PTA spon­sored events (movie night, mem­ber­ship meet­ings,
fundrais­ing, etc.).

The PTA board meets once a month (usu­al­ly the 2nd Tues­day) for about 2 hours or so. We cur­rent­ly
have a great group of par­ents on board and not only do we dis­cuss impor­tant school issues, we do
have a bit of fun as well. So, lead your child(ren) by exam­ple and become a com­mu­ni­ty con­trib­u­tor
in the Liholi­ho Lauli­ma PTA Board.

We cur­rent­ly are look­ing for:
Elect­ed Posi­tions

  • Fundrais­ing (VP5)
  • Mem­ber­ship (VP1)
  • Trea­sur­er
  • Sec­re­tary

Appoint­ed Posi­tions

  • May Gen­er­al Mem­ber­ship Meet­ing Chair­per­son

Hel­lo,

Mr. Tom Hold­en is coor­di­nat­ing a fun and healthy activ­i­ty for all the stu­dents AND par­ents at Liholi­ho!  The Kei­ki Run will be held on Sat­ur­day, Feb. 16 and is a a great oppor­tu­ni­ty to spend an active and healthy morn­ing togeth­er.  The course is 1.5 miles long and fin­ish­ers will receive a shirt and healthy break­fast.  The Kei­ki Run will donate 90% of all our reg­is­tra­tion fees to our school which will help with the pur­chase of PE equip­ment.

Ear­ly entry dead­line of $15 per par­tic­i­pant is tomor­row (1/18/2013)!

After tomor­row, the fee will be $20 per par­tic­i­pant (1/19/2013 — 1/31/2013).
