Here are pic­tures from last week’s Gar­den Par­ty. It was a lot of fun, espe­cial­ly for the kids — they could play with dirt and it was OK!

Hel­lo Liholi­ho Ohana!

Just pass­ing along infor­ma­tion here about a Lego® event / Sum­mer Read­ing Pro­gram. This is from Play-Well TEKnolo­gies:

We want­ed to invite you and Liholi­ho Ele­men­tary fam­i­lies to a FREE event where we will be build­ing Hon­olu­lu out of 20,000 LEGO® Bricks. The event is being held on Sat­ur­day, June 3rd from 10 AM — 1 PM at the Hawaii State Pub­lic Library. It is part of the kick-off to the Hawaii State Pub­lic Library’s Sum­mer Read­ing Pro­gram. Fam­i­lies will get the oppor­tu­ni­ty to build the City of Hon­olu­lu as they would like to see it.

It’s back! We wel­come the return of Liholi­ho elementary’s ART­be­foreDARK exhi­bi­tion. This art show­case is ded­i­cat­ed to shar­ing and cel­e­brat­ing our stu­dents’ cre­ativ­i­ty and expres­sion through the visu­al arts. ART­be­foreDARK will be held on Thurs­day, May 12, 2016, from 3:30 to 4:45 pm around the school’s cam­pus.

Just a friend­ly reminder…Spring 2016 Read-a-thon begins this Wednes­day, 3/16. Col­lect pledges and read as much as you can for 10 days! Then, turn in your log and mon­ey to your teacher on April 3rd.
Prizes will be award­ed to the those who read the most min­utes and col­lect the most pledges!

If you didn’t get a pack­et, you can print your own below or pick one up from the school office.

Good morn­ing,

This is to inform you that there were a few changes made to the orig­i­nal fly­er.

  1. The pan­el now includes Mr. Frank Fer­nan­des, Prin­ci­pal of Kaimu­ki Mid­dle School
  2. The time of the event runs from 6:00PM — 7:30PM on Fri­day, Jan. 29.

If you have signed up orig­i­nal­ly, we are ask­ing if you could sign up again due to the new times and speak­ers.  If you are inter­est­ed in going, please click on the link below, print out the form and return it to your child’s teacher by tomor­row, Jan. 26.
