Hello Liholiho Ohana,
Sorry, just catching up on old photos here. #TBT?
Here we have a picture of the “turkeys” on Turkey Strut day back in November:
Mr. Marsh, Coach Holden, Mr. Kim, Mr. Magnenat, Kumu Manu, Mr. Oide
Great costumes! Looks like they had a blast!
Thank you to all who donated canned goods to the Hawaii Food Bank. Donations went to those in need during the holiday season.
Hello Liholiho Ohana,
In case you missed it, here are pictures from the PTA Holiday Program and December Meeting held on December 12. Videos of the adorable Kindergarten performance are also included!
Lots of things went on that evening. There were games in the back of the cafeteria that kids (and parents) enjoyed (like drawing a snowman without looking). There were 2 large teddy bears raffled off to lucky families. Kids posed for pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Donations for Toys for Tots were collected.
PTA also gave their update.
Thank you to dancing Santa and Mrs. Claus, awesome Kindergarten teachers, hardworking Liholiho staff, PTA board members, and parents who helped with the event. Also thank you to those who donated for Toys for Tots!
A special thank you to PTA December Meeting Chair, Grant Giventer who put on the joyous event! And thank you to Shelby Ozaki for decorations, games, and for taking many of the pictures.
Happy Holidays to you and your families!
Below are pictures from the Kaimuki Christmas Parade which was held on December 7.
A BIG MAHALO to Kumu Manu for leading the children in song. Thank you to volunteers who helped with the event (kahili bearers, banner carriers, other volunteers). We really appreciate you! Thank you to Rita’s Italian Ice for providing a refreshing dessert at the end of the march! And of course PTA Special Activities Chair, Mirasol Panoke, for her hard work in making this fun event possible for Liholiho!
(Thank you to Shelby O., Mrs. Nishiki, Aletha S., Misty S. for providing pictures)
