On Monday, there were 40 children absent from school. There seems to be many cases of the flu and illness going around. Mrs. Small would like to send out this flyer to help families Fight Flu and Germs!
In the Thursday folder that your child brought home, you may have seen a flyer that are asking for volunteers for the Flu Clinic on Friday, Nov. 14.
If you have time and would like to help out as a parent volunteer, please fill out the form and return it to your child’s teacher. Or if you haven’t received a form, you can fill out the Contact Us form with your name, child’s name, and contact information and the PTA will route the info to the PCNC and health aide at Liholiho!
Tomorrow is Liholiho’s Food Day & Fitness Fair! Students will get to exercise their bodies and also samples delicious and healthy snacks during the event!
Please have your child:
Just a reminder that tomorrow is a FULL DAY of school and it will end normally at 2:15PM.
Yesterday’s race conditions were wet and windy, however, that didn’t deter the 12 Team Liholiho runners from participating in the Hapalua Race (half-marathon).
Thankfully at the end of the race, warm malasadas and cool shave ice were a welcome treat! We would like to thank the runners below for participating in this year’s event and for raising over $700 for the Liholiho Laulima PTA! Yay!
A big ALOHA and MAHALO goes out to all the runners and pledgers/financial supporters for this event! We could not have done this without you! Thank you very much and we hope to do this again next year!
Please don’t forget that tonight is the March PTA General Membership Meeting!
You will get updates on the latest and greatest from the PTA (Fun Fair totals, Upcoming Fundraisers, Open Board positions and much more). There will also be 1st and 5th grade performances as well as 4 stations to learn about Wellness at Liholiho!
We hope to see you tonight!
