Good morning! This is just a friendly reminder that Walk-a-thon pledge forms are due tomorrow, Tuesday February 28, to your child’s teacher. Thank you very much for helping the PTA fundraising committee meet our goal of $40,000! Monies raised go back to the school to benefit our students.

And here are pictures from the event! (Thank you to Ms Shimizu, Ms Miyasaki, Shelby O. and Misty S. for pictures). And THANK YOU TO ALL who helped make it a success, including faculty/staff, PTA board members, parent volunteers and student participants!

Liholiho Warriors, get your walking shoes ready! The Liholiho Warriors Walk-a-Thon will be held on our Food and Fitness day, February 15, 2017. This is your chance to get fit and have fun with your friends. 100% of the funds students raise will go directly to the school PTA to benefit our students.

The walk-a-thon will take place at Liholiho Elementary during school hours in conjunction with the school’s Food and Fitness Day events on Wednesday, February 15th. Participation is free and students will walk with their classmates during their designated walk-a-thon time period. Families are welcome to come and cheer on the walkers throughout the day.

Our goal this year is to raise $40,000! That is a BIG number, but with your support, the Liholiho Warriors can achieve anything! With our fundraising efforts earlier this school year, we were able to raise approximately $21,000. If each student is able to collect $75 in donations, we will be able to reach our $40,000 goal.

A packet with more information was sent home with your child. Here’s a copy if you can’t find yours: 2017 Liholiho Warriors Walk-a-Thon

Just a reminder that this Friday, Feb. 12 will be Liholiho Walk-a-thon/Food and Fitness Day!

Your child should have bought home their pledge form a few weeks ago and should it have been misplaced, you can visit this link to re-download the form:

This is a great opportunity for your child to get fit, raise money for Liholiho, and win prizes!

Wait, what?  Do my eyes deceive me? Prizes?

Two winners per grade level will be announced after the pledge sheets and donations are collected.

The top students in each grade who collect the most money in donations or who walk the most laps will win prizes or gift cards donated to the school by our community business partners.

The classroom with the highest participation rate in donation collections will win a healthy snack party! If multiple classes have 100% student participation, the highest dollar amount collected will be the tiebreaker.

So go out and have your child collect donations to his/her heart’s content!  Should you have any questions, please send them our way by clicking here!
