In today’s Star Advertiser, there is an article titled “Schools get better grades” and it lists Liholiho (with an index score of 341; the higher, the better) as a “Recognition” school.
A “Recognition” school is defined as “Top 5 percent of schools” and “Only the highest-performing and highest growth schools in achievement, graduation and achievement gaps are eligible.” There are only 14 “Recognition” schools in the entire state!
So a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to all the students, parents, teachers, and staff for all their effort and hard work and never resting on their laurels! Give yourself a pat on the back as well!
