We definitely could not have done it without your help! As a small thank you from us to you, we’d like to present you with a Movie Night!!!

It will be on Friday, January 13. However, please note that the RSVP date is tomorrow (Mon Dec 19). Due to room capacity, movie seating will be limited to the first 100 Liholiho students and immediate family members to respond.

Happy Holidays! In the spirit of giving, some of you may be wondering about giving gifts to teachers and/or staff. Please remember, it is not necessary and by no means do any of the teachers and/or staff at Liholiho expect any gifts. However, if you feel that you want to give something to your teacher and/or staff for the holidays, please remember the following State Ethics Commission’s gift guidelines:

The state’s gift guidelines provide that the following are acceptable (these guidelines may not apply for employees whose official duties include procurement):

  • “Gifts of Aloha” – modest gifts of nominal value traditionally given as part of Hawaiian culture as a gesture of aloha or goodwill such as a flower lei or a box of cookies to share with the office – and other gifts of nominal value such as small promotional business items (e.g. pens with company logo).
  • Meals and “Food and Drink” types of events valued at under $25. This limit applies to the whole event.

In other words, please keep your gift value to $24.99 or less. Mahalo!
