Thank you to everyone who came out for the CPK fundraiser last week. It was a great turnout and $1,071.23 was raised for our school! Hope everyone enjoyed their meal and didn’t have to wait too long. We truly appreciate your time and support. Every bit counts and monies raised help pay for school improvements, programs, curriculum materials, part-time teachers, special events, and more.

Please join us as we celebrate May Day on Friday May 4, 8:45 a.m. Featuring performances by each grade level on the field. Hawaiian plate lunches are available for pre-order.
*Because performances will be on the field, there will be no field parking available. Carpooling is recommended. Please kokua by NOT blocking the 9th Ave. & Maunaloa corner. This will enable the city bus to turn the corner.
*We are still in need of volunteers and donations of tropical flowers. Please see this flyer for more details. Also, be sure to return the May Day Lunch Form to your child’s teacher. This is to indicate whether your child will eat in cafeteria, picnic with family, leave after May Day program.

At our April PTA meeting we were joined by 2 (or 2 and half) very special guests! Justin and Laura Alford, from Washington state, have been raising money for Liholiho for each of the past 4 years. This year, they raised the most money yet — $3355!
We are so fortunate that Justin, all the way from Washington, found our little school in the middle of the Pacific. It was by chance that he stumbled upon our website while searching for discounts for the Hapalua half-marathon. We were holding a small fundraiser for Hapalua participants at the time, and he took it upon himself to raise money for our school. We were amazed. But even more amazing was that he did it again the next year, and the next, and the next! The total raised over the past 4 years is over $9000! Unbelievable.
Thank you once again to Justin and Laura! We are so humbled and floored by your generous support of our school! We wish you the very best!
